California Wildfires 2025: Eaton Fire AFTERMATH
January 29, 2025, Altadena, Los Angeles County, California, USA: Homes destroyed by the Eaton Fire in Altadena in Southern California. Fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds and a year of super dry conditions, a series of ferocious wildfires erupted on January 7, 2025 and roared across the Los Angeles area, killing at least 29 people, including some who died trying to prevent the fires from engulfing their homes, and destroying tens of thousands structures, homes and businesses causing billions of dollars in damage.
